OBJECTIVE

Identify a dead, dying, or defunct brand and revive it through a new strategic plan, visual identity, and brand guidelines, all while staying 

true to the brand’s soul. Research a brand’s past and mission to create a new brand identity, as well as a future direction.

APPROACH

I chose to rebrand Gibson, the world’s most 

iconic guitar brand. The new Gibson will start

a new sound service in digital media markets. 

After I identified a new approach, I designed a new Gibson Identity, which looks more innovative. 

I created new brand guidelines for the new Gibson and defined how the new Gibson will expand in the future to reinforce its new mission.
